Only the Night

a romantic little poem

All the stars shining brightly

just dim in your light

Still drawn to your beauty

they kiss you goodnight

 

In silver, soft crystals

warmed with a moonbeam

wrap hearts gently beating

in luminous dream

 

For a silken moment

together we fly

'til wings get all tangled

in morns almond sky

 

How is it they take us

where no one else goes?

All the stars shining brightly

Only the night knows…

What a lovely poem, great imagery too. Love can make us go into worlds/places we didn't think exist, some may feel so unreal but all at the same time very real. I LOVED THIS POEM....
