Let it Snow

Let it Snow

A Poem by MsJewel

~~~
As stars that shine on winter nights
are to the moon's beauty
when snowflakes whisper in the wind
so was his love to me
And still he shines deep in my heart
and whispers in the glow
of winter nights and pale moons
Please love…let it snow
This was beautiful. A great many folks on the east coast got more snow than they bargained for these last few days, I was in the lower elevations and there was a torrential rain storm followed by forty mile an hour winds and lightning. It was quite the experience. At least there were no tornadoes here. I enjoyed the read. F.
Very nicely done
In the less romantic world of snow, I would like to see a dump or two myself for the sake of our well in the summer.
Stay warm
Thank you John :) Julie
Such a gentle, loving poem, edged in lace and sweet desire. Beautiful, Julie, truly beautiful in every way.. the colour injected into the whole is cleverly alluring.
Sighing... such a soft trembling echo of words and longings. Everything here seems so deeply personal, so transparent. Beautifully confessed.
Julie Dear,
First-off, your presentation is sheer eye candy … the picture setting a nuance the ambiance of your words answer tenderly ⁓ with warming love, as only You know how.
You know me, a fan of excellently rendered poetic form, rhythm, and emotional metaphor; the Quatrain in bd, fh rhymes amongst my favorites.
I love the way you've used the ellipsis in your final line to emphasize the ending's impact, and the tilde's above and below the body, along with the light blue font choice, to soften the entire feel.
Bless you for sharing your always splendid art, straight from your poetess' ever-so beautiful heart! ⁓ Richard : )
I appreciate your visit and your kind words. Thank you :) Julie
You probably don't get as much snow there as I do. We had a white Christmas and new year and more this Sunday. There is something about snow on a cold winter night that brings out the desire to build a fire and snuggle with someone warm.
Have you ever heard the snow flakes falling? It's like angels whispering.
I love your poem. It makes me want to hear the snow.
