Cold and DeepA Poem by MsJewel
Pale in winter white are
clouds that weep a
snowflake's tender fall, ‘tis
cold and deep The frost of winter
chill can't hold me dear a tingle finds my cheek,
one frozen tear to dress my winter coat
in quiet chill gathered 'pon stormy
winds, yet all is still Taking
the blue of skies, this frost that clings in
silence icy cries lost on the wings of graceful
nightingales and as they fly sweet
songs of joy are lost in the dark sky Unzip
the silent night for in my dreams wrapped
in the silver sheet of warm moonbeams I find
myself in spring, I feel the bliss of
butterflies, sweet perfume on my wrist Caressed
in warm embrace and flowery hue with
honey kisses sweet, romance is new and soft
as whispered words only love hears fading
slowly away as the dawn nears Pale in
winter white where my dreams sleep and
still the snowflakes fall,
‘tis
cold and deep © 2018 MsJewelAuthor's Note
