White Linen

White Linen

A Poem by MsJewel

"At the heart of love lies the quickening of senses, the thrill of touch, the perfume of passion, the taste and the voice of love, the vision of the beloved…"Kathleen Blease

In white linen

we linger…

his hands finding the softest curves

my breath caught

in the folds of his linen sheets

where I forget fear,

and all the weary things fade

in the light and living of his touch

flooding my soul

                     as I sigh and swoon

and all the night silences to hear

the sweetest passage of a song

                     yes,

the music set about his honey tongue

serenading me ‘til passion melts in bliss

and dawn sweeps the morning sky

                                in pink

                                           … and white linen

this is so beautiful. it oozes love & passion through your elegant words which dance off the page. you are ever the romantic, painting deep portraits that take us away to another dimension where time stands still. this makes you just sigh in amore and is beyond deep. holding us in a delicate loving embrace. what's not to like?

Thank you sweet beast. I sure miss you. Hugs, J
As I remember from Starlite, you had a niche for writing the most romantic of pieces. ...and your presentations are equally as beautiful!

Love the changing of the font color, too...it's refreshing to see after so much black!

Take care, Julie!
