'Tis the SeasonA Poem by MsJewelwinter is cold without the one you lovePhoto compliments

Tis the season for hope and joy
and love…
for words that
loved ones say that echoed once but seem to fade when all there is
between us is the snow
and this longing, uninvited yet living,
breathing, chilling a heart aching to be
wrapped in love your love
but there are no
roses bright enough to warm the winter
coat that hides my smile as I listen to the
nightingales sing and the midnight
winds complain… if I could
there is only a
wish on a magical night and a Christmas
star that falls like
dreams and soft snowflakes after all… ‘tis the season
