Just As You Left Me

Just As You Left Me

A Poem by MsJewel
"

~ a romantic scribble ~

"

It is just as you left it…

this shore on which I wait

watching the ocean, in colors of your eyes,

                 rising

                             as my whole heart rises

                                       blue as my reflection

though waves of passion still find me in red

                 blushing…

           naked to your breath

surrounded only by the echo of the wind,

stirring the storm that whispers of clouds,

                        some colored with hope

wishing…dreaming

                              you will uncover me

among the seashells and treasures lost

but found again

                                        just as you left me…

watching the ocean, in colors of your eyes

Reminds me the "Jewels" of "Sea-Shells" that belong to furrowed hearts. Love's romance so is romance love, but when it comes to hearts, ah... even the life goes blurred. You certainly speak the heart. Memories of love, love with shades and the "colored" breaths... everything's evocative and is romantically pen'd up... with words, so nicely painted on words. Excellent work. Enjoyed reading your poetry!
