Just As You Left Me

Just As You Left Me

A Poem by MsJewel
"

~ a romantic scribble ~

"

It is just as you left it…

this shore on which I wait

watching the ocean, in colors of your eyes,

                 rising

                             as my whole heart rises

                                       blue as my reflection

though waves of passion still find me in red

                 blushing…

           naked to your breath

surrounded only by the echo of the wind,

stirring the storm that whispers of clouds,

                        some colored with hope

wishing…dreaming

                              you will uncover me

among the seashells and treasures lost

but found again

                                        just as you left me…

watching the ocean, in colors of your eyes

Beginning and ending with the same message as if closing a loop that goes around and round.

Strong imagery..waves, wind, clouds.

Well done.

Julie, Another lovely piece you have written. The photo is perfect for the poem and first lines I especially like, " It is just as you left it…this shore on which I wait".
