Awakening

Awakening

A Poem by MsJewel
"

~ a romantic little scribble ~

"

art ~ Karol Bak

It’s you that awakens

the stars in my eyes

the moon in my soul

passion…

as if the skies

have wrapped me in your love

satin sheets of night

my heart surrendered

to your dark and light

You awaken me

"the stars in my eyes//the moon in my soul" I love this description. It wraps your reader in a soft flow of love and happiness. It's a great analogy that sits and swirls in my mind. I'm not sure how you keep that soft romantic voice and tone write after write, but I always know where to find my warm fuzzies.

I like like the nice place you took me dear Poet. To be awoke by the gentleness of love touch. No better place. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

It has been a while since I let out a sigh... but after reading this I let one out that could feel the Grand Canyon.
