Blue Dawn

Blue Dawn

A Poem by MsJewel
"

~ a romantic poem written in lai form ~

"

~~~
Quiet is the night
weaving pale moonlight
the hue
soft and oh so slight
sets my dreams in flight
of you
hold me ‘til dawn’s light
takes you from my sight
in blue
When the falling dew
sweeps the day anew
I’ll don
a dress of bright hue
a smile though not true
and on
a vision of you
I’ll find my way through
Blue Dawn
~~~

See.. there you go again.
Being the consummate poet.
If this wasn't so dam good
I would say you were showing off....

But it is just too dam good.
You are amazing.
And this poem shows it in every line.
Crystal Blue perfection.

Wow. This is really nice. As usual. Your affinity for beautiful words is breathtaking. And I must say that the picture going nicely with this piece. Like always. And the scene you've painted is oh so beautiful. Nicely done. Stay inspired.

This is simply beautiful Julie and the French form fits wonderfully with your extraordinary flair for romance . Your words paint a portrait equal to the image you have included. Really loved this one!

This is beautiful Julie but something about the line 'a smile though not true' feels sad.

Beautiful words and places you took me dear Julie.
"When the falling dew
sweeps the day anew
I’ll don
a dress of bright hue
a smile though not true
and on
a vision of you
I’ll find my way through"
The above lines can stand alone. I like the visions brought to life by the outstanding poetry.
