I am a mother of 6, My kids are still at the age where on Mother's day I get gifts of soggy toast and hand drawn cards/pictures, I sometimes long for them tom grow up and write me words on a card similar to what you have written but at the same time I like them being so innocent and young, so sggy toast instead of loving kind words it is then for another few years :) I'm new here, just joined yesterday, If you have time maybe you could pop by and read some of my work? Many thanks xK.

My daughter is in college now, but I still have her first Mother's Day present to me - a poem and her little handprint from pre-school. Hang on to those precious gifts - they become even more special over the years. I look forward to reading your poetry. Thanks again. Julie

dear Julie... You have left a trail
of Rose petals in my heart. Mothers
are the quintessential garden of our
soul... A field of Lillie's in watercolor dreams.
You are an artist of poetry. Louvre.... Pat
MsJewel, this was beautiful.
Those first four lines, magic.
You're mum must look down on you with the same love and pride with which you look up to her.
A beautiful poem for love and your mother.
"and lilies
blooming in a soft bouquet
of watercolor dreams
adorning a garden of memories"
The above lines are perfect. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry for the love of dear mom.

Julie: Oh my Lord, how gorgeous, you know it is so beautiful. What a beautiful tribute, and I know she loves it, I know in my soul she is so proud of her lovely daughter. There is no one that can write like you. Everytime I come here and am so dumbstruck, so in awe, always smiling, thinking how beautiful - but today a sadness, but also a smile too knowing how much you are loved, how much you love your Mother. I can only blabber; truly your talent is amazing girl. Bravo. The art is phenomenal, the title is perfection. Now, you have given me another thought, for when I see a rainbow, I will think of this poem and a Mother's love. Thank you so much.....Dale
I've been writing poetry for 15 years. My poetry isn't unique in any way, but it is written from the heart.
I have trouble keeping up with everyone's poetry, so please send me rr's.
I enjoy rec.. more..
