I am a mother of 6, My kids are still at the age where on Mother's day I get gifts of soggy toast and hand drawn cards/pictures, I sometimes long for them tom grow up and write me words on a card similar to what you have written but at the same time I like them being so innocent and young, so sggy toast instead of loving kind words it is then for another few years :) I'm new here, just joined yesterday, If you have time maybe you could pop by and read some of my work? Many thanks xK.

My daughter is in college now, but I still have her first Mother's Day present to me - a poem and her little handprint from pre-school. Hang on to those precious gifts - they become even more special over the years. I look forward to reading your poetry. Thanks again. Julie

We cannot say enough how much we love our mothers... love the repetition and the beautiful lines you share to pay tribute to your mother. This is exquisite poetry at its finest (not that I expected any less). I really admire your gift with words, Julie. - FT
Absolutely gorgeous dedication to your mother Julie! I love how you say that though there have been many tears, there are none today. Instead, you choose to remember the beautiful memeories, and the small things in your every day that remind you of your mom. She would absolutely love this piece!
Mothers day is a special day set apart for showing your mom that she is loved.
But knowing the love that is or was shared is much more powerfully expressed in your poetry.
And I know that you think of her often..... specially when you see the cala lillies that she so loved.
Beautifully poem for your dear mother.
HUGGS. Trace

Thank you Trace. I hope you had a chance to hug your mother. Hugs, J
I've been writing poetry for 15 years. My poetry isn't unique in any way, but it is written from the heart.
I have trouble keeping up with everyone's poetry, so please send me rr's.
I enjoy rec.. more..
