Of Wishes...Of Love

Of Wishes...Of Love

~ a romantic scribble ~

"

To lay my head a moment ‘pon his chest

a serenade of two hearts intertwined

that takes us far above the restless night

where only heaven waits, we move as one

I’ll count the stars shining in his eyes

and know each wish was only that for love

Each breath between us sweet,

                              precious one…

hold me close as the night sheds her dew

To wake to pale white lilies standing tall

and buds upon the vine glistening dawn

to catch each falling tear, this dewy morn

silky and soft, yet warm, as he is near

then join him half awake veiled in our dream

where wishes still shine in loving eyes…

Nothing like two hearts intertwined in one dream of eternity and nothing like those eyes shimmering in the precious nights. A wonderful scribble...:)......

Julie: Of course it's beautiful and so is the art: I love the way the syllables flow too; your usage of language is so impression and heightens the flow: the e's: silky, loving, he, falling, glistening, lillies: the patterns in other areas are beautiful too. Thank you so much. Love it: What a talent you possess. Wow. Dale

Geee!! Julie you are making me addicted to love poems.. This is so very romantic i made my very hard cynic soul moan. :p The breathy contentment when to heart fly to the paradise of ecstasy.Nothing absolutely nothing in this earth counts with that.A simple gesture of resting head on his chest speaks volumes of connection you said. And as always breathtaking imagery.. Always a fan :) *keep writing*
