Outside a chill is falling

pale in the winter snow

from where I am my darling

springtime is aglow

the vines are intertwining

with buds ready to bloom

while my heartbeat is climbling

left breathless in this room

to wait for your voice calling

with the passion I know

will have my petals falling 

‘til springtime is aglow
