All Our Roses

All Our Roses

A Poem by MsJewel

As autumn finds her golden fall

and winter winds begin to call

soon branches on the tallest trees

stand naked in the restless breeze

and vines begin to ache below

no shelter for a roses glow

Of springtime rain, of summer sun

of hearts that beat only for one

in shades of love ‘til seasons play

teasing tethers  in disarray

bound forever, now break away

senseless lover of yesterday

Should I cry or moan, I fear

we took our love for granted dear

and now the rose upon the vine

lies wilting in the hands of time

as what was new, now feels so old

fading slowly in autumn’s cold

Have all our roses blushed?

I`m impressed.
I haven`t read your 'rhythmic' poetry in a long-time. So, it`s good to read your words with such rhymes. Your art`s getting explored... in anew artistry which`s way good for your lovers. I find one thing `bout your stuffs that they`re written in every pose (creative-art/forms/formats) & well expressed with the worth of meaning as well as your talent through the very hues of your "rosy" words. Nice work.

I`d be writing you reviews in bulk (reading your beautiful stuffs) this day!

it seems everyone has a dream of a past love, and yours are more beautiful with the colors of fall
and the howling winter wind exposing the flowers as they fade away as our past flows gently along it`s path

thank you for your lovely words Ron :) Julie
Ah... A poem about the mysteries of relational seasons...
I think it is possible to keep love fresh and un withered. Yet, it seems nearly impossible to un blush the rose of love once it has wilted.

You ask questions in the last stanza scented with hope and remembrances.
Julie, I believe even when we have neglected the garden of a relationship there can be a springtime if renewal. No, it will not be the same tender green laughter of our youthful summer play, but the wooded branches of a maturing sanctuary will have tender sprouts and fragrant colors to embrace those willing to commit to tending the garden once again.

Autumn is a titration of time within a funnel circumstance; much like a fading love...
Interestingly I think the poem was "about" the season at call, and completely about questions of the last stanza.

Thankfully, we are the gods of our love seasons and we have the power to change the winds and the weather of our live's more than most of us realize. ;)

Lovely poetry and captivating visual art as usual.

You're welcome.
This turned out so much better than I could have made it.

You have created another masterpiece of poetry.

You know when it all comes together and the words flow from your HEART
To express such wonderful sentiments and emotions, and it shows in this remarkable poem.

You are a master poetess.

you are welcome..........:) :)
It's beautiful in a painful way. Leaves me a sad smile.
A sense of daze created, showing the journey like those roses; so delicately that I feel if we whisper any louder, it will disappear.
Serene, sad and delicate. :)
