All Our Roses

All Our Roses

A Poem by MsJewel

                 art ~ Arthur Braginsky

As autumn finds her golden fall

and winter winds begin to call

soon branches on the tallest trees

stand naked in the restless breeze

and vines begin to ache below

no shelter for a roses glow

Of springtime rain, of summer sun

of hearts that beat only for one

in shades of love ‘til seasons play

teasing tethers  in disarray

bound forever, now break away

senseless lover of yesterday

Should I cry or moan, I fear

we took our love for granted dear

and now the rose upon the vine

lies wilting in the hands of time

as what was new, now feels so old

fading slowly in autumn’s cold

Have all our roses blushed?

I`m impressed.
I haven`t read your 'rhythmic' poetry in a long-time. So, it`s good to read your words with such rhymes. Your art`s getting explored... in anew artistry which`s way good for your lovers. I find one thing `bout your stuffs that they`re written in every pose (creative-art/forms/formats) & well expressed with the worth of meaning as well as your talent through the very hues of your "rosy" words. Nice work.

I`d be writing you reviews in bulk (reading your beautiful stuffs) this day!

Nature is the best way to describe the feeling of love and how it raises and falls. I was especially intrigued on how you ended it with a question leaving the audience wondering. I love to think so that last line made me think did this lover care at all??? Though it is apparent that the two of them did have fun despite the trails of the relationship the reader still got the sense of romance from the both of them but at last still the two lover went there separate ways but why??? Very nice I shall be reading plenty more of your writings...

Thank you Scott. It's always lovely to see you :) Julie
You've taken us through the seasons of love....through the circle of life from puppy love, to long lasting love, to loss. Bittersweet and heartfelt, your words are touching, Julie. The rhyming is flawless. The rhythm is charismatic. You are so talented. Lydi**

Julie, you just made my day. Thank you.
A soft and questioned sadness blooms in his poem Julie. The wilted rose upon the bush, chilled by autumn's wind, its stem bent over in loneliness, faded petals facing the ground wondering, will I be loved again. But come spring, new blooms, new smiles and a brand new happiness will adorn this wonderful art of nature. Your poems always touch me, no matter the emotion, I feel it.

I'm thrilled you enjoy my scribbles. Thank you for your lovely comment :) Julie
There is a season for everything. Some things only last for one others have a longer duration. But when the rose withers on the vine both pain and questions are left in its wake.

Should I cry or moan, I fear
we took our love for granted dear
and now the rose upon the vine
lies wilting in the hands of time
as what was new, now feels so old
fading slowly in autumn’s cold

Have all our roses blushed?
