Softer Times

Softer Times

A Poem by MsJewel
"

~ a scribble ~

"

richard johnson ~ evening comes

~~~
Of a hill in veils of white
and a verse in gentle rhyme
dancing on a breeze of light
petals float the winds of time
Catch a few in grateful hands
a bouquet to smile with me
as in clouds of pink I stand
wrapped in your sweet memory
Clouds that seem to never rain
weaving flecks of sun and shade
in a vignette where the pain
is softer as edges fade
Just as soft, the tide below
pastel skies, it dances too
I watch the smooth ebb and flow
dreaming I could dance with you
Weave a verse in gentle rhyme
to dance with love and as light
as memories, softer times
of clouds in pink, hills in white
~~~

Lovely again this finds great joy to me heart rhyme away love and paint the ski with words of love to some special guy. his heart will skip a beat with every passing word that he has heard. The picture gets better as the poem seeps on. Spreading words of love if left unheard cupid's arrows would miss there mark I would be seeking your love Through these clouds of pink and hills of white. Your words are a bravo to the poetry world.

An artist can see colors that most just take for granted
And as the brush touches the canvas....... a masterpiece is created.

A poet does the same with a pen to paint a picture with words......
And nobody does it better than you.

This is stunningly beautiful.

ohhh i love this .. the last 4 or 5 poems i have read this morning have been rather dark .. wonderful blessing to read! .. i especially like that you talk about a changed pain .. wisdom and uplifting feelings for me reading your poem .. like it a lot .. into the ol' library it goes :) i admire your rhyme and rhythm as well .. nicely done .. well worked .. certainly not a scribble for me!

You took me to good places.

I like the places and memories in the poem. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

I'm tempted to try writing something so soft. It's so foreign. I can't imagine thinking like this.
There are so many soft words.
It's almost, like, hypnotic.
keep it up.
