The beauty of a summer day

one could not compare

to all that I have found in you

for you take me where

 

I see the dawn in golden light

dress the morning skies

warming the dew that shimmers there

to stir the butterflies

 

I hear the birds sing melodies

through the wind untamed

while the flowers upon the hill

in petals write your name

 

Light and carefree, sweet wildflower

dance upon the wind

sing with the birds your gentle song

and when tree branches bend

 

It’s only in your loveliness

they curtsey as they sway

for your beauty is even more

than a summer day

Awww!! Its just so sweet of you to write something for your daughter. She is i guess the loveliest being that even the nature pays her tribute. This poem shows that o yes a mother lobves her daughter. Parental love is unconditional. This poem proves that. Your words always have that power to wrap me in a blanket of delicately spunned words. This is somethinf different from our romantic queen but its outstanding ;) ★takecare★

Where I am right now it's about 98000 degrees with the same percent of humidity.( Air conditioning is a beautiful thing) Where ever this poem is describing, I'd rather be there. The birds aren't singing here, they're passing out.
