Some Angel

Some Angel

Some Angel you have become

some graces I still see

in the soft whisper of a moonlit sky

as the wind stirs the stars

and the nightingale sings a serenade

              beautiful and wild

I breathe the scent of dewy leaves

and roses blushing as they blow

my senses ravished

Is it not the sweetest dream?

to find a piece of heaven…

I feel you

yet…in my heart there is a quiet ache

born of a hundred sighs and the burn of tears

and the night,

                that longs to answer

for the one I dream of cannot dream of me…

                Some angel you have become

You write with such beauty and grace. The flow of your poem submerse me in this tender charms. Angels are the beauty of poetry and are used in every which way. To spread the words of love around this poetry town. Dreams are the imagination of poets everywhere and in your dreams only the sweet things come true. Love your style been reading your for years. WIth much joy in my heart your poetry is the best by far. My heart beats with joy with every word.

When the wind is stirred up, it serenades the wild. When the dreams are stirred up, they become the ravishing hope. An excellent and touching poem...:)...................

Julie, I think you should hand out tissues to those who read this poem. The gentle heartbreak that weaves throughout but stops with those last few lines and makes us feel the emptiness of loss, stated with endearing thoughts (angel), but also bitter ("some angel you've become). I think the way you do this forces (in a good way) us to feel along side you this love and loss... Julie it still amazes me that you call these poems "a scribble", tastes and feels more like art to me.

I see tears in this one a very heartfelt one, it would take someone with a very cold heart not to dream about the warm soft side of knowing you.

what a touching thought, and so sad...

"the one i dream of cannot dream of me...."

beautiful line...and of course...the poem itself...in your inimitable style, Julie...
