My dear friend what can I say about this.
A nice departure from your usual genre. I love the descriptions you captured so well. Things we all experience.
the breeze in my hair, the warm sun on my face, digging toes into the sand, etc.
The reader, me in this case, is slowed in the reading by your intelligent use of indents and spacings and that allows the images to build in the mind. It brings back forgotten moments.
Very well done.

Beautiful! This is exactly how I feel when I go out to the beach during the summer!! The imagery is so visid playing in my mind. Let time just stand still! Great job with this! :D
I am quickly becoming a hige fan of your poetry Julie. Lace tipped waves. I loved that. This was very beautiful and serene. Thank you for sending me a read request...I really enjoyed this today.

I'm thrilled you enjoyed it. Have a lovely evening :) Julie
I love summer. I went to the beach yesterday. A woman with a Angel wing tattoo made me write poetry. We need beautiful places and vision to make us write. I like the beautiful artwork and amazing poetry for summer.

the repetition of "time standing still" helps reinforce this precious momentary snapshot of a charming, relaxing summer's day at the beach.. The very first line is pure magic--whisks me away to imagine the sighing of the breeze as it floats across the water sprinkling scents of salty ocean waves. I love the way you tease all of the senses with this piece. I can hear the seagulls, feel the cool sand as I dig my toes down in there playfully, I feel the sun's warmth beating down on me as the carefree breeze lightly caresses my face. Just laying there with nothing on my mind in a state of revered bliss for the beauty of nature. Elegantly bewitching with such graceful simplicity. I love it!

I can picture the scene just as you have painted it within this touching poem.
How I wish I was there teasing the sand crabs and watching the waves crash in to each other
until the sun sinks into the misty horizon,,,,, with you.
Brings back memories.

I've been writing poetry for 15 years. My poetry isn't unique in any way, but it is written from the heart.
I have trouble keeping up with everyone's poetry, so please send me rr's.
