So it Rains

Alone with the moonlight, is it a dream

that plays in soft repeat where I remain

waiting for rainbow days and yet it seems

the clouds have turned to gray and so it rains

 

And as the wind begins to rise and shake

the heavens weep and cry in wild refrain

Caught in this reverie is where the ache

breathes with inflections of a hurricane

 

 I shiver in the cold, though passions warm

in memories of you, etched and ingrained

with each tender tear that gently forms

to fill my heart, my eyes...left unexplained

 

The sun, it seems to rise, as golden rays

will weave my rainbow wishes once again

through clear blue skies that never seem to stay

when teardrops fall in dreams and so it rains

I like how you blend the beauty of some moon lights with the delicious taste of your love finding the paths ~~~ the unnamed roads~~~ walking over the ridges of some hearts all the time.
