So Far Away

So Far Away

So far away

and yet

when the night is warm and the air is thick

and the motion of the breeze
gently

tickles my skin

…like your soft breath
on the nape of my neck…

oh oui mon amour

suddenly
you are here

and before I can focus

before I remember

my lips whisper

stay

…floating

like a secret

on the warm night air…

for a moment

I am yours

The longing for that someone special.....I am struggling with this every day. The chance to hear her voice, feel her touch is like a dream but a nightmare too. I close my eyes and see her and know that patience is what is needed if my love is so strong.

This is simply touching and resinates with me.

Regards
Troy

In a way, this is kind of dark and eerie, but in a good way! I could feel the longing of emotion from when I read this, being able to relate since a good friend of mine recently got locked away a couple days ago and won't be out for about 104 days or so. Deep down, I really like him and he, me in return and he asked me to wait for him until he gets out. I told him in my letter I wrote and sent him this morning that I was in no hurry or interest to be with anyone, that I would kindly wait for him. My dreams were full of him and its like I saw him, felt him next to me...holding me until I drifted off to sleep. Gorgeous write!

Thanks Ron :) Julie
The word 'Suddenly' is the only thing that jumped out to my disapproving eye... now I am thinking 'and before I can focus before I can remember' could also be better phrased - however it's possibly the best thing I've read yet.

I felt as though I was watching a foreign film-and reading the dubbed dialogue...fascinating and romantic! I found myself turning my head to feel soft breathing on my neck! Needless to say-this one drew me right in to the Paris scene! So talented.
