Destiny?

Destiny?

A Poem by MsJewel
"

~ a spring love scribble ~

"

art ~ Mark Arian

As if spring were your own…

the garden gate opened

and roses appeared

birds sang

              and clouds blushed in pink

                       scented of fresh linen

                                  and pastel painted dawn

 I fell into your arms

As ribbons of light

       tethered our hearts

                    beating as one

                        in perfect harmony

       Was it my destiny?

The garden gate opened

            and you found me

                       in springtime

aaah Julie, you and your delicately delightful "springtime scribbles".. breath taking.. if I believed in fate and destiny then I would say that they were at play in your poem.. oh yes, very much alive and opening up the gate to your garden... ~~redzone

What a beautiful poem, penned with a masterful grasp of grace and beauty. Spring is a lovely season and I feel as if its incorporation in this poem adds a certain magical feeling to it. A 100!

Heavy sigh....over the top romantic, Julie! Yes, it is meant to be that two people meet....and when they do, the rest is history! Such beautiful imagery and sweet emotion in every line. Super poetry! Lydi**

They have never left me here, Julie. It is 85 and sunny here today! :)
Springtime is so fresh and new
what better time for love to blossom and grow.

Tend the garden and enjoy the rewards.

Beautiful poetry here my friend.

Thank you sweetie Hugs, Julie
You've truly captured the spirit of Spring here my friend...the opening stanza very much reflects how it feels when it finally arrives ;) And when you add romance to the mix, its arrival becomes that much sweeter. You have a style all your own when it comes to your evocations of love in these innocent stages...lovely work as always Julie :)
