The seabirds have returned

filling the breeze with soft songs

and sweet melodies

 

A lullaby of love

warming the sky and teasing my heart

 

While just beyond reach

beyond the glimmering clouds

 where the ocean meets the sky

you shine…

 

paradise in loves pure light

 

I watch…from a distance

 

as memories like sunbeams

weave a tapestry of strawberry kissed yesterdays

and a sandcastle built for two…

 

“Dance with me, love

like the mist of the tide swept on the breeze

Love changes everything

when you listen to your heart”

 

I smile

Sublime and gentle-but-assertive evocations of romance...kind of a mouthful I know, but it's the best way I can think of explaining it haha Of course these are the elements I've come to expect from your writing...words like soft, sweet, and lullaby do just that, lull the reader into a sensuous scene of ecstasy...I mean a good lull obviously :) I can almost hear the waves and the returning seabirds here...lovely work as always Julie :)
