Heart Prints

A Poem by MsJewel
"

~ missing someone special ~

"

art ~ Lluis Ribas

There are no footsteps left

only mine

            wandering through memories

wondering why

after five years

                       three days

                                      and nine hours

the flowers still bloom without you…

O' Mah Gosh! What the haven is this!
This write's so filled with peace and memories. The emotions, the past love, the cold breeze, the heart beat everything's well penned into the poem... and that's all what I damn loved to read.

Thanks for penning this marvelous piece with your scent that's of course made this write beautiful and enjoyable reading :)
Once again 100/100 Rating!

Your really damn cool!

This is lovely, sweet, and sad. I especially like the way you broke up your lines for emphasis. Beautifully done!

A sad and strong description of someone missed. Funny how time is important. A day with sad meaning leave us with the need to hear a missed voice and face. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.

This was a very enjoyable poem, Jewel. You've captured an extraordinary amount of time spent longing in only a few words. That is excellent. While reading work, I sometimes wonder why it takes some writers so long to express an idea that could be done succinctly. Thank you for sharing.

Amazing poem! So heartfelt! Even when you describe sadness, you do it beautifully. And every word is so true.........! That person must be so dear to you.
