One Last KissA Poem by MsJewelgoodbye summer
art ~ Elzbieta Mozyro
Who woke me from this summer dream wrapped in cloudless skies and cooled the kiss of warm sunbeams and took the butterflies That swept the scent of wildflowers on wings of tender lace and fluttered through this fantasy the chill of this embrace fades the songbirds sweet melodies as heartbreak fills a sky now breathing cool as Autumn falls I’ll whisper my goodbye…. to scattered leaves that fly too soon upon this icy breeze to butterflies and wildflowers and birds high in the trees and blow just one last lovely kiss to those warm sunbeams that wrapped me once in cloudless skies… goodbye summer dreams © 2013 MsJewelFeatured Review
