most think of daisies they think of the old "she loves me, she loves me not.." of petals telling the joy or pain of love... but Julie, I like this version much better... of "unruffled petals" of "laughing with the birds and butterflies
still dancing
because you love me"...
have you ever walked and came upon a field of daisies??? wild flowers, everywhere and then couldn't resist the urge to just stop in the middle of them and lay down looking up at a cloudless blue sky. your poem took me back to that day... Thanks Julie, for the poem , but also for the memory.. ~~redezone

I think you made a good choice by using "daisies" in this piece...they illicit a certain feeling of youthful love and innocent desire. Another sublime and beautiful piece that just begs to be read multiple times. Well done.
