Show me Mercy,

even though I have

sinned.

Show me Mercy

when the world

falls over

the edge.

Wicked thoughts and wordly desires

have eaten away at my soul,

at its light. 

Still, show me Mercy,

and cure me of

this blight.

Show me Mercy

in my final hour

when death descends the

body to devour.

Show me Mercy!

Do not forsake me, Great One,

for I have only you

when you care for so many.

So, show me Mercy.

Let me climb high above

and not waste away

in the underworld

of his eternal decay
