If I

If I

A Poem by Juliana Callahan
"

A loose conversation between two people.

"
If I left,
would you come
after me?
If I cried,
Would you
hold me?
If I died,
would you
care?

If you left,
I'd find you
and never let
you go again.
If you cried,
I'd take your pain
and make it mine.
If you died,
I would die too
because that's
how much
I love you.

These are heartfelt sentiments. Woman have a depth to them that is unmistakable. Nice poem.
