Your words

Your words

A Poem by Juliana Callahan
"

A poem I found in an old notebook.

"
Your words stab me
like an old rusty blade,
tearing me open.

You come off as creepy.

My heart breaks a little at these
words you so casually utter.

How can you not see my pain?
See the damage you cause?

You ruin everything.

Words thrown by people
who I thought I'd always
adore and vice versa.
