Try

From the moment I saw you I knew we were meant to be

but what I’ve done has ruined us..our love that we had for each other

What we had was like nothing I felt before

As we continue to live our lives, we try to forget what we had

Just so we could make it through the day

As we try we are not the same to others as we once were

We are more moody and alone…as we choose to be.

We shun away people who claim to love just because of the fear of being hurt

Why can’t we be together? Why must be alone?

Why can’t we try again?

"It's better to have loved and lost is than to not have loved at all." Truly only the ones who have lost love could make that claim. I wonder if the fact that it says "why can't we try again?" a clear indication that the quote is true.
