MichaelA Poem by JuliaManciniA poem about my friend
Life can change in an instant.
One moment you live in your routine, The next, you are on the tribute train to The Hunger Games. I never thought I would ever love someone like you, But I do. Somehow fate brought us together, And now we are stuck like glue. No matter, how big of a problem, Your morals will never faulter. You will never be a piece in their Games. I don't have to be an actress Around you. This is me, And this is the me you will always get. We don't talk about parties Or gossip. We talk literature, film, and art. Who else can I talk fun facts with, No matter the oddity of the fun fact. I can be myself around you. No need to rush into things. I don't want to mess things up. Let's take this slowly, One day at a time. It is an honor to call you my friend. And it would be hear-breaking to lose what we have now.
