My PeetaA Poem by JuliaManciniA poem with Hunger Games refferences.I’m not perfect. I'm nothing special. I'm not the most outgoing I’ve never stopped tears I’ve never saved a life. I’m only me How else could I deserve you? That I never knew was there. With every day, you try To bring it out in me. Despite your own fears, You help me overcome my fears. I'm not an actress. I fear public speaking. You brought me on stag with you During improv. I felt like it was only us On stage. You protected me on the stage From embarrassment. It wasn't the arena, But you keep the odds ever in my favor. You say you want Peeta's character. You say you want Peeta's caring heart. You already have them though. Life can change anyone, But I know That no matter what happens, You will always be yourself. Nobody can change your character because You are not a pawn in one of their Games. You offered me your snack Before you touched it. You said you couldn't eat When I had nothing. You are my Peeta. Real or Not Real? Real. I would do anything for you. I would save your life In the arena. I would fight Cato for you. You are my boy with the bread.
