The Subway IncidentA Story by Jules K.Inspired on the NY subway to Utica.
She stared directly at him,
Unabashed. He felt the eyes on him In this crowded subway; Scanned the small space. Their eyes met, She didn't look away. Her eyes didn't even flicker, Her eyebrows didn't move, her face didn't flush. She stayed fixated on him And if anything, her mouth Gave way to a small smile of sorts. Then, her eyes Were drawn to the opening door To watch the next contestant. His followed, out of human nature; We want to see what interests others To sympathize, Naturally. She allowed the entrance to clear, Stood, Winked at him, Exited. He puzzled over the oddness Of a girl staring openly, Wondering how she was Cultured that way.
