As with a rose

As with a rose

A Poem by Jules
"

The elements, nature and life

"

As with a desert and its fine grains of sand

Life’s balance lies in your hand.

As with the sea and its many tides

Some things appear and some hide.

As with a flame and the heat of the sun

The warmth may flicker or it may burn.

As with the earth and the raindrops that fall

The land may be barren or be plentiful.

And as a rose blooms and it’s petals unfold,

Life and it’s mysteries are foretold.
