Love Is A Splendid Emotion

 

                        Yes, true love is a splendid emotion,

                        That does wonders when blessed from above.

                        It binds people with so much emotion,

                        That we say it’s a miracle glue.

 

                        Lovers will love each other a lot,

                        When they’re bound by a thing called true love.

                        To each other they’ll always be true,

                        For their love has bleen blessed by God.

 

                        A sweet mother, her baby caressing,

                        Shows a love that has come from above.

                        There’s a husband so tenderly kissing,

                        The young wife to whom he vows his love.

 

                        There’s your neighbor who comes in to help you,

                        When you’re sick or you’re just feeling blue.

                        There are always good people around,

                        Who give help to the needy in town.

 

                        But this love that sometimes performs wonders,

                        Can cause harm when that glue is not too strong.

                        Mommy’s love for her own children wanders,

                        And a husbandly love can go wrong.

 

                        There are some who are denied assistance,

                        When their cries for help are ignored.

                        When all these things occur with persistence,

                        It means God’s not with us anymore.
