Like father, Like sonA Poem by JugHead985More of a confession than anything, this is a paraphrased conversation.I pen this with you in mind For I was once the sparkle in your eye Now you've grown older, and have so little time Your friends are now your heroes, so I'm cast aside The path you now travel,I've traveled before So long I'd hoped, this mistake you'd ignore the money comes fast, the euphoria divine But when the smoke clears, you've left life behind I saw and done things of which I'm not proud But in that life, morals aren't allowed Man it's just weed, I dont need to steal Don't have that dudes money, see how he feels Gun barrels and knife points, Oh what a day your friends just wont matter if they can't pay How will you feel, when it's either you or them and you have to see, your friend without a limb I know you are busy, so I'll make this short please heed my warning, this mission abort As long as I walked this path you now roam I never once, brought my work home Long now retired, from your vocation of choice but that doesn't mean they've forgotten my voice fine by me , if you can't put this on the shelf, but bring this home again, and I'll kill you myself.
