Laid to Rest

Laid to Rest

A Story by JugHead985
"

A view into the duality of beliefs

"
A soul without a home within these walls
Who is to answer when my conscience calls
Rage spreads like fire thru the fields
Coated with the gasoline of, your pathetic shields
You hide behind your prophetic truths built on lies
Seen only thru the author's eyes

Not to say it isn't there, hidden behind the wolf's stare
Could you feel it, without the emptiness in there
Do this, do that...when can you be you
You are welcome as you are if only you do as I choose
Time eases the wounds, wrought by the world
As you lay dying you pathetic girl

While the sands in life's hourglass slowly descend
How long will you keep us this pretend
A heart so empty, a life so alone
A black tie affair, you soul without a home
