SlowlyA Poem by JugHead985an introspect of forgiveness
As the door begins to close, the chance to forgive all but gone
Darkness escapes the light, you're drawn to become alone The effort mirrors what some would deem an endless game But time ticks on slowly, and the effort cannot sustain A whisper is but bittersweet, when it's spoken in reprieve Like a butterfly entangled in a caterpillar's tomb The end result Is nonetheless a product set to deceive Slowly as we grant our wishes only to estrange From all the we have learned and lost The song remains the same. © 2011 JugHead985 |
