Vengeance Pursued

Vengeance Pursued

A Poem by Judy Ponceby
"

For Creative Poetry

"
With arrow and quiver
a voluptuous maiden
gave chase to her captor.

The b*****d who
contrived to subjugate
her to his will.

He only succeeded in
imprinting a flame
of hatred
within her tender heart.

And with ambrosial lust
she pursues
his destruction.
Indulging her
need to exact
vengeance.

Stare over long at Artemis with desire and She will treat it as an affront. An ancient theme, well worded and made anew! I really enjoy watching as people take the Eternal archetypes and continue to breathe Life into them. Well done!
