Music Appreciation

A Poem by Judy Ponceby
"

For Creative Poetry

"

My mind blazes with an inferno of music.

Notes created to play

Point, counter-point, one to another,

To flame into blazing fury.

Tiny tinkling notes crash

To low sonorous tones.

Metallic vibrations lead to

Unearthly bursts of melancholy discord.

Not for the pretentious musician

But for the appreciative of symphonic quality

Such that would ignite a Phoenix.

I love the harmonious flow of this piece, such a display of words as music to the ear close enough to the ground you can hear the sound of inspiration in tapping feet all around...good stuff

I'm big on music, and this poem expressed it very well. It was well written, had a good vocabulary, and kept me interested the whole time. It was very good, and it leads me to believe that you play an instrument yourself maybe?
Thank you for making the people who make music proud :)
