ImaginationA Poem by Judy PoncebyFor Creative Poetry
The inventive minds of boys
make their imaginations come to life. Enthralling battles with goblins and dragons, sorcerers and monsters, carried out in finest silver armor. Bewitching musings on horrid witches and maidens in turmoil. Legions of hellions marching leagues through giant vermin-infested swamps and caverns the size of cathedrals. All of these epic tales played out in the backyard, on bicycles, with sticks and garbage can lids, with towels for capes, and Spot the dog as the faithful companion on all manner of adventure. These are the means to greatness for every boy and his dog. © 2011 Judy PoncebyAuthor's Note
