Yearning

Deep within
is a yearning,
a feeling of need,
an ache of sorts.

And upon
examination
this need, ache
yearning
comes from
a deeply
held joy.


The knowledge
that in this
world there is one,
one who
knows me deeply,
cares for me,
loves me.

This is where
I hold the need
of him,
the desire
to be
with him.
The wanting of him.
My love and
yes, lust for him.
Deep in this yearning
needful ache.
