Spring's Song

Spring's Song

A Poem by Judy Ponceby
"

A froggy tanka... :)

"

Spring peepers chirping.
Western chorus frogs trilling.
Wood frogs conversing.
Sounding in nature's background,
Music to spring's emergence.

Nice use of the form, Ms. Judy..
I heard the peepers for the first time last night..
They were all around me..
In the field above the hedgrow,
and the woods below..
I was surrounded
by their chorus of beautiful music.
.your poem has perfect timing
