Spring's Jewels

Spring's Jewels

A Poem by Judy Ponceby
"

First a lune, then a haiku, then a tanka.....

"

Dewy soft petals
Glorious
In Spring's pastel blush.

Blossoms wakening
Seeking rays of majestic
Sunlight every dawn.

Rays luminescent
Coursing from far distances
To enliven earth
Spurring a seed's potential
To exquisitely blooming.

Powerful, very evocative. You really capture the feel of spring.

High quality and image-packed work! You strike me as having more than just a flair for such forms. You may have found a home.

Judy, youve gotta be one of my faves around. This poem is compact yet it manages to portray the majestic beauty of nature. Just lovely. :)

Judy, this is beautiful, so like my garden at the moment. everything is just beginning to bloom, lots of bulbs and the blossoms. I love Spring's pastel blush. Do you paint also, this is like a painting:)

Very nice! It's always difficult to pack a punch into those teeny little forms but you did it so well.
