BearA Poem by Judy PoncebyMom, tell me about Bear...
My son's brown Bear
Sits up on a shelf. A little battered From all the love. He appeared in ICU When our baby was only a day or two. Brown, shiny eyes twinkling, Vest clean and trim, Bow-tie in place. Over the years Bear has been here For the first bath, first words, first steps. For the day our son tied his shoes himself To the day he rode his two-wheeler without trainers. Twelve years and more Bear has been with us. A little battered from being loved. He has shared in our stories And in our tears, in our laughter and in our love. God Bless, Bear. We love you. © 2011 Judy PoncebyReviews
