Cabin Fever

Cabin Fever

A Poem by Judy Ponceby
"

Wishes...

"

Daffodils and daisies.
And summer days so hazy.

Roses and posies.
Making bees all crazy.

Peonies and violets.
Sunning and all lazy.

Bleeding hearts and trumpet flowers.
Spring time gone a-blazey.

Yes, the snow is melting, the birds are flying
And, I'm getting a little stir-crazy.

Unfortunately, stir-crazy is once again closing in on us.
A happy, beflowered little poem that will, regrettably, soon be relegated to mothballs.
Why are you torturing us, mischievous Judy, with lovely near-nostalgia?
