Harper

Harper

A Poem by Judy Ponceby
"

Celebrating ...

"
Celebrating the Harper's training session,
children let fly from their hearts
the very songs learned from this unassuming man.
Hair silver in appearance, face care-worn,
playing his mandolin on the fire warmed hearth,
he gives way to each child's impulsive request
for a favorite tune.

Very sweet write Judy. Nice portrait of a bard.

Lovely...like the singing voices of children.

Charming portrayal of a scene I don't quite know where to place. (Have, however, ruled out New York.)
Warm, happy and kinda homey.
Endearing poetic portrait, Judy.
