Purrrrr
A Poem by Judy Ponceby
Meow...........
Velvety soft, Wickedly playful, Padding softly, across my heart. Dark as soot, Eyes flaming yellow, Slashing tail, across my heart. Purring deeply, Racing wildly, Joyfully pouncing, on my heart. Sleeping contentedly, Stretching lazily, Ignoring advances, from my heart. Slinking, Lurking, Jumping, Climbing, Crouching, Stalking. ^. .^ ..............prrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

This is a lovely poem. And I am a dog person who doesn't quite get cats! Repetition, rhythm and choice of words is very good. Well done!

I love your poem about cats.
It is good. You are good.
I, apparently, not so much.

Well done. This is a poem for those who see the companionship in a pet.
