The author is not God but believes he will be like his Son when he sees him for like everyone else he will see him. The chapters contain metaphors that should lead you to the truth a close as he can given what he knows of the Father and Jesus Christ the Son as taught by the Holy Spirit in a way that should entertain as well as inform without preaching.
