At The RiversideA Poem by Y.F.Sometimes life gives you a short pause from your busy schedule.
I sit here at the river's side,
the wind stroking my hair. Some tourist-boats pass sometimes by, yet I don't seem to care Two ducks nearby, they seek to feed, my bread I gladly share. I watch the spring's first flowers bloom, under the mid-sky glare. I wish to stay on this green piece, to you I must confess; Can't wait until tomorrow comes to clear my head of mess. © 2010 Y.F.Author's Note
